The stairs that I discribed are perfect and fitted spot on. Kevin and his son Danny have just completed a loft conversion for my house in Evington Leicester. I highly recommend them as others have done. If you are considering having a loft conversion recruit them. They ticked every box as far as I was concerned!

I was in the house some of the time during the weeks they spent here. I felt totally trustful to go away for 9 days and leave them with the keys too my home with no worries whatsoever. I was bowled over by their quality service at every stage! They were discreet, hard working and conscientious! They had a long journey each day but always arrived on time and kept me informed with regular updates. I was consulted about my preferences from the word Go!.

Kevin did not forget any of the requests I made at the start and here and there during the work. He is a craftsman and a professional joiner and it shows! He was extremely creative in the planning to create maximum space for my conversion. He needed to be creative in problem solving in this older house in a conservation area.

They have an excellent plasterer and plumber whom they call upon for some of the specialist work . They arranged all this with no unnecessary delays. It was a pleasure to do business with them. He and Danny his competent and delightful son remained even tempered thoughout despite the challenges!

Overall I was astonished by their honesty and integrity. Other companies could learn from them.

When choosing to to a get a loft conversion I must confess I was nervous. Everyones heard the stories of 'builders from hell' and this is not what I wanted. After seeking advice from several sources, including my local building inspectors, and recieving several quotes I decided to choose Additional Rooms... I have not been disapointed. Kevin Fitzpatrick and his son Dan have consistentaly offerred a first class service from planning through to completion. Communication, punctuality, quality of service, cleanliness, problem solving, removal of rubbish, discussion of options, planning, building inspection, attention to detail and respect for our privacy even when on nightshift has been continually provided. All this has come within a fixed price that was one of the cheapest, thus avoiding any 'unexpected suprises'. They offer a quality of service rarely found in our contemporary culture. Therefore, I would have no hesitation in recommending Additional Rooms and wish them every success in the future.

When Additional Rooms asked us for a few words to be used on their website we were both very happy to oblige. Even though a part build, Additional Rooms provided us with an extremely well built conversion which involved a high level of expertise due to a full width dormer at the rear. We decided to extend into the loft of our house, and it has turned out to be one the best decision we made. The work that Danny and Kevin completed was of the highest quality, they kept up informed throughout, and even recommended a late change which significantly enhanced the loft space.
